Watts Antenna Company is directed by its owners who are active in the operations of the company:
 

John H. Johnson, Sr. Martha Johnson

President and Director of the Company since 2000

·     Joined Watts Antenna Company in 1996.

·     Directs company operations, research and new product development, oversees production and testing of all end-fire systems, and provides specialized customer training.

·     Evaluates sites for potential new systems.

·     Provides technical and engineering level field support for optimization, pre-flight inspection, commissioning flight inspection.

·     Considerable field experience working in complex antenna environments at over 25 airports throughout the United States.

·     Authored over 20 technical reports, acknowledged in three masters theses and approximately 20 various reports.

·     Member of the Institute of Navigation, the Air Traffic Control Association, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association

Vice President and Director of the Company since 2007

  • CEO, secretary and treasurer,  Martha Johnson joined Watts Antenna Company in January 2007 as program manager to complete the FAA production contract awarded in 2006.

  • Assists in the general management of the company and manages the company’s financial administration, project proposals, accounts receivable, purchasing, personnel and payroll. 

  • Associated with Watts Antenna Company and Instrument Landing Systems for 21 years through her husband John who is serving as the President of Watts. Mrs. Johnson has been involved in the production of end-fire glide slope systems on a part time basis since 1996.

  • Born in West Germany and moved to the United States in 1983.  While living in Germany Martha was employed as a nurses' aide in a cancer rehabilitation hospital.  She was also employed in production factory prior to moving to the United States.  Mrs. Johnson became a US citizen in 2000.
